Every producer should watch this. I’m sick and tired of getting terrible stems to mix

Very useful info! But, when you say stems, do you mean multi-tracks / individual tracks / stripes? Or do you mean stereo sub mixes? Individual tracks are not stems.

Multi tracks

Hey Studio DMI, I'm looking to do a stem mix with you, but I have done a lot of processing on my busses and I am not sure how I would go about sending you those since if I were to disable the fx on the busses, it'd totally change the timber of the track, and the individual channels going into them wouldn't sound the same. What's the best approach here?

How do I convert from 24bit to 32bit floating point, when I bounce my Logic project? I usually convert my mix to 16bit when it’s the whole mix in one wav file (master session). Am I doing it right? My tracks seem to sound crushed even when I master to -14lufs 🤷🏻♂️🙇🏻♂️😭

You should export 32 bits from Logic, 16bit should be only for distribution (beatport, etc..)
@Matt_Morgan Жыл бұрын
@@lucapretolesi1918 My music goes straight to the distributor for online stores, except Beatport. 16bit is best for that, right? I also upload a separate version to my KZfaq channel at 16bit. Should that be 32?
