1. Arm yourself with the right attitude. 1 Peter 3:15-22 is the gospel Belief =behavior Same attitude as Christ towards suffering. If we suffer with Him we reign with Him. 2. Arm yourself with the right ambition. Will of God or the lust of man. Have thine own way Lord.🎶 God's will> be saved, abstain from sexual immorality, pray not faint. You can't have God's will without following His way. 3. Arm yourself with the right activity. Old things pass away all things become new. Leave the activities of the world. Lewdness, lust, drunkenness, revelings, carousing, abominable idolatry. Worship of sex, drugs, and alcohol. Be holy as He is holy. 4. Arm yourself with the right associations. You desire to be with people of God. Psalm 1 You are not at home in this world anymore. Romans 12 Continued.....

Peter wasn't praying when he should have been praying he followed a far-off when he should have been close then hanging out in the wrong place. The choice is sin or righteousness. 5. Arm yourself with the right assurance. That assurance is Jesus. The cross. Be born again. You will stand before God. Life is short, death is certain, judgment is real. Jesus paid it all on the cross. Because judgement day is coming we preach the gospel. We have 2 things to have assurance of. God will vindicate, to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. You have to be born again.
