This is how to reset a Wyze switch if it loses WiFi connection. The whole state of Florida lost its on 04/25/2022 so I had to reset all my switches.
First I deleted it from the Wyze app and then pressed the switch until the light blinked fast. Let go of the Wyze Switch and the light blinked slow. The click on the plus sign in the top right corner of the Wyze app and let it search for you Wyze switch. After that it will connect to your internet and just type your password and let it set up. Then you can connect it to Alexa after that.
To factory reset Wyze Switch:
Press and hold the switch button for 20 seconds.
When the LED status begins to blink quickly, release the button.
Once the status light blinks slowly, your switch is reset and read to be set up again.
The factory reset process can be used to remove the current WiFi connection information from your Wyze plug.
This can be used when you have a new WiFi network and need to set up the Wyze plug with your new network, or if you need to perform a full reset.
To perform a factory reset on your Wyze Plug:
Press and hold the on/off button on the side of the Plug until the status light begins to flash blue.
