If it says that "Recovery enviroment not found" You'll need to go into the the windows search bar in the bottom left and type in "Create a recovery drive". If you follow the steps that it gives you then it will work and the cmd will become successful after you type it back in. You will need a USB in order to do this though. Hope this is found.

how much gigabytes does it need? and i plugged in my usb (7gb) and tried to create a recovery drive but doesn't let me create a recovery drive even though i tried to do cmd (reagentc) do i need windows installation media for it to work?

@@AsirionV4 Eventually I contacted Microsoft support and they send me the media that worked for me. I suggest doing the same as that was the only 100% way I was able to fully reset my PC

So i followed the steps in your video but after selecting "keep my files" I get message saying "There was a problem reading your PC - No changes were made". I know this video is 2yrs old when I'm commenting but id appreciate some help.

I would do what i did: save files you want to keep to a external hard drive, USB sticks work, and then just delete everything. Currently seeing if it helps my pc but unfortunately i think mine is on its last legs lol

no everything will be deleted BUT windows not allthough i still recommend not using remove everything once it buggged out and deleted my mouse and keyboard drivers

The problem was that last time I had to reset Windows to factory settings, it was because the error was that the Settings app was broken and crashed as soon as you tried opening it 😄

whats funny about this is i rest it the NORMAL way and each time i'd do it it would change the setup. for instance, SOMETIMES it would let me skip the image verification part and other times it would automatically skip and go to the setup part with Who Will Be Using This PC? part. anyone else with Windows notice this?
