My Hikvision nvr went bad so I got a new one , I’m getting a password and admin error instead of a video , I will try what I learned from your video hopefully it works thank you..

If you know the password of the old recorder, it will be the camera password. If you don't know the password then you will have to factory reset each camera.

I got a zmodo camera model zp-ibh23-w from a friend and I could not add it to my app because it said that it is already tied to my friend account and my friend didn't remember anything about it. It didn't have a hard reset at all and I unscrewed the cover and still couldn't find a reset button. Any didea?

If you can't find the reset button. Then you will have to call Zmodo to remove it from your friends account.

@@JasonTech Correct. I called them yesterday and that was what they said and it will take 30 days. I will never buy a Zmodo camera again. Nowadays their cameras are low tech compared to other cameras.

I have suneyes sp-p710 p2p camera. I haven't opened it yet. Is the reset button indide the camera?

I don't know anything about this brand. What I found is, you have to use a computer. Can you get the cameras login page on a web browser? If you can, change the index.html to initializemain.html It will give you the reset to default option.

Did you try the default password, 12345 if that doesn't work, then you have to use the SADP tool.

How do you have the camera hookup, is it connected to the NVR or a POE switch? What brand is the camera?

Almost every IP camera I've tested and used has a reset button. You might have to open it to find it. What's the model number of your camera?

Some cameras have a default user name and password. Some cameras, you have to put in a password. What camera brand do you have?

It could only be 2 thing. 1- The camera never got reset to factory 2- That's not the default username & password. I have never used that brand, so I don't know the username & password.

Hi i have one hdw4431c-a and want to do the reset but when i open it there is no reset button. My Nvr sees the camera but the status is red and password recuired,do you know where the reset button is and do you know the password for these type camera? Username is admin it says but i dont now the password? The camera is not connected to the Nvr but on a switch
