I just feel like I haven't even caught up to earning all of the experimental ammo types, since base defense itself was broken for a while on console, then the update, then broken again. Happy to see that doing base defense and investing time there should pay off handsomely for concrete and other RNGoodies. Looking forward to building up one "pretty" base and one battle base…

No, the sledgehammer's full lightning charge strike causes up to 30% of damage in comparison to the RLG-7 causes 26% of damage.

Is that on direct impact or a result of the emp blast ? So if I miss and hit the ground will it do the damage or just the emp ?

@@darkdraco02 EMP Blast attack has 3 levels. The level 3 can cause even more damage than a Rocket.

Amazing work. Love the effort put into this video. It has to be noted that though base defense yields the highest amount of cement, the player has to consider that some of their cement based structures may be damaged throughout the fight which needs repair. I'm not sure if the overall net gain of cement will still be more than doing base assault after taking that into consideration. :)

Man the stone age in general in GZ is awesomely designed, base builds coming very soon now that we have the farming sorted >:D

Dude, thank you so much. I was having such a hard time trying to figure out how to get this, I'm guessing this is also if you aren't part of the 40% that can't spawn in base assaults. Hopefully they get that patch sent out to playstation soon. I can't wait to go and grind this so I can make a base out of all cement.

Yes sadly, but a hotfix for consoles is coming soon and is out already on pc and workin a charm! Its the main reason i got this video done up finally 😁

Yeah, but a Base Defence costs you cement in repairing the damage done - especially on Hard. So I reckon your best bet is lots of Easy base defences ('cos you can finish them with little or no damage) and taking down the FNIX bases as soon as they spawn. Mind you, the last time one did on my map, by the time I had finished the fight which spawned it, it had already reinforced to level 2 and took a battle! Great vid BTW.

Well, yes, you videos about GenZero is quite useful, yet I would like to see something different. Like how to play effective. I together with my friend have quite problems with moving from one location to another due to high amount of tanks, reapers, firebirds and wolves that really takes a lot of time to fight through them (not counting tons of ammo to take them out). So, maybe some advanced tips videos ? That would be nice. Cheers.

It's anyone else having issues with multi player. Tried to have a friend join me in gunning down the machines but the button to send a invite does not work. Is this part of the glitch with the last update.

My only question is that how much cement will go into repairing/rebuilding your base doing the defense method? Because if half of the gained cement has to be used up then the net amount is probably closer to the other methods...and there is an added hassle of running around and repairing everything.

Do keep in mind that you can build an inner core wall of cement with several layers of wood on the outside, let the wood absorb most of the damage since it's so much more available (than cement, anyways😒) while using the cement as the last line of defense. The repair costs will be much lower that way.

Try multi-player. I was messing around trying melee weapons and the host gave me the experimental sledge. Didn't know it was this strong.

They evolved and got partial teleportation. Whenever I fight they sometimes teleport a bit away and start shooting me again.

@@darkdraco02 mine dissappear then reappear when the char gets close enough in the area. Like they are there then not there. It has stopped for now. Might have been a bug.

fun fact my chest got bugged bc of that update and i was able to Upgrade it whitout kosts to lvl 200,and i cant use it anymore now im using a mod for more inventory weight and now im carrying like 11 Tons of items so if anyone wants to trade hmu 😂 and yes it was dumb to Upgrade it past lvl 5 ans yes i knew the max lvl when i did it
