She's literally a house dog. Her job is to snuggle us, not to fight a bull. She doesn't need to be jacked, she can be a lil chunky.

Thats not true, it actually works as a natural dewormer! I wouldn’t recommend giving them pumpkin seeds everyday but once or twice a week is just fine!

Blue buffalo has practically constant recalls and they say they use cancer causing ingredients. Do a little research my friend. Your dog will thank you. Blue buffalo been coasting on the name alone for a while now.

@@sidneydykes5032 Yes Orijen and Acana are better but Blue Buffalo is right under them better than most brands out there...dogs have been living off Blue forever...the recall was for a batch of a certain type of product...not all their products

@@Poppa_82 They’ve had like 10 different recalls since like 08 for things ranging from possible mold to things as bad as metal contamination. That’s unacceptable. I’m not willing to risk my buddies health for the blue buffalo brand.

How much raw meet for a 65 pound dog?

@@franklucas3888 this is sort of the middle ground standard. a 36-56 week old dog should eat 4% of their body weight. 56-68 week old dog should eat 3% of their body weight. And a 68 week old and over dog should eat between 2-4% of their body weight depending on their activity. That being said. Lets say your dog is 56 week old and over. Middle area of exercise. So figure he should eat 3% of his body weight. In kilos to get that. You multiply his body weight of 29.5 x .03% = 885 grams which converts to 1.95lbs of food a day. Here is a easy plan. This doesnt include fish , eggs, fish oil , yogurt, or other needed essentials. You can add the items I listed above by subtracting some of the amount Im listing below. 1.95lb of food is either in one sitting or split into two. For 1.95lbs of food. That needs to have 70% muscle meat, 10% bone, two types of secreting organs at 5% each. So for example 5% of kidney and 5% of liver, 7% veggies, 2% seeds and 1% fruits. You can get the raw meat , organ meat, bones, and poultry (ground up or whole) from bigdanstrucking.com. The shipping cost and freeze box cost suck. For 70lbs of ground meat, 10lbs of ground bone/solid bone (my pup is only 10 weeks old so Im getting 5lbs of ground up bone and 5lbs of non ground up bone) 5lbs of ground liver, 5lbs of kidney, 5lbs of chicken liver and 5lbs of chicken heart. Before shipping costs. The total is $131.75. Shipping is $95 and the freeze box is $45. Final cost shipped to me $271.75. Then add in 7lbs of sweet potatoes $8.75, 2lbs of pumpkin seeds $18, and say 1lb of blueberries $4. Final cost $302.50. Cost per lb is $3.02. But that includes the chicken liver and chicken hearts. You wouldnt give your dog chicken heart and liver the same day as beef liver and beef heart. Calculating it that way is $2.80 per lb. Hope that helps. What I wrote is just an example. You can substitute and alternate stuff to bring the cost down.
