One of the most rewarding fish to target along both the Southern California Coast and its offshore islands, the California Halibut presents an exciting pursuit for novice and experienced anglers alike. The California Halibut can grow to weigh upwards of 60 pounds and 5 feet in length. As the seasons change, the locations and depths we target halibut adjust as well. In the Summer months, we often fish for halibut in the shallow water areas of the bays and head to deeper coastal waters for the Fall and Winter months.
