when i try and select my line work, under live paint the "make" option isn't available?

Hi, I dont know why when i start painting I can only fill a few parts of the illustration, I can not find a solution

how can I add the color palette? I keep having to research how to achieve each step in this tutorial but everybody has a slightly different style and technique of creating the image they're editing so even if i niche down the description of my search, it shows results that usually mess up and makes my hard work irreversibly screwed. PLEASE HELP

After using the live paint bucket why does it need to use the expand? What does it have to do with the vector?

Hi Trisha. Great question! Think of the paint bucket like a separate world, where you can quickly create shapes based on the appearance of objects that interact with each other. When you expand, you are bringing that world into the illustrator workspace, where you can then use all the other tools to make further adjustments.

My live paint > Make is greyed out, I've looked at how to fix it but I'm not getting in luck, any suggestions? thank you for your time.

Hmmm. Did you have your line work selected before trying to click on live paint/make?

After select object > live paint > make but then i dont have any live paint bucket on the side bar. Can you help?

Hi Keyzer! It should be on the left side of the toolbar, hidden under the shape builder tool (looks like two circles). Have fun!
