If you have 14 hours layover and if you want to wait at airport you don't need to fill MDAC Form you can stay at airport without Malaysian visa but if you want to roam around Malaysia then you need to complete all formalities regarding immigration,i suggest you if you roam around Malaysia then you must book a hotel which provides you non chargeable cancellation and after your immigration you can cancel your booking

An extension to this question is while returning back to KL again, do we need to fill Mdac form 2nd rime if there is change of terminal. In my case we would be staying in Malaysia for 6 days, leave for Singapore from Langkawi and will be back to KL for return flight to India. Two different PNR and terminal change as well from KL1 to KL2. Do they allow twice entry within 10days?

Hello sir, Regarding the visa for Indians, its not required to get a tourist visa for Indians as its free and we'll be provided with visa on arrival, right?. The only necessary document that are to be produced are the MDAC along with proof of stay and return tickets. Anyhow there isn't any necessity for visa application before arrival right?

Yes only 1 mdac form is sufficient, because mdac from is required only for immigration, when you get entry stamp on your passport then you are free to go anywhere in Malaysia

Insurance is not compulsory for malaysia but you should take travel insurance its is not very expensive it would be just 300-400 rupees, you will go to bangkok then you have to show you Malaysia to Bangkok flight ticket ,and you should carry minimum 10000 inr equal ringgit, safe journey 😉

I you get immigration in kuala lumpur during your layover then you have to fill mdac form but if you don't get immigration while your layover then you don't need to fill mdac form

If you and your family get immigration together then you don't need to Malaysian currency but if you clear your immigration alone then you need to local currency because you indian currency is not valid tender there ,how would you pay your taxi ,your food ,so please bring your Malaysian currency from India

Yes you must carry mdac print out during going to Malaysia and you must print out of flight ticket Malaysia to India

Your mdac form receive on your mail ,Generally we get messages even during international trips, still you should check with your SIM company about this.

I am also airtel user and I get all incoming message internationally, but I recommend you talk to your customer care center and make sure you will get your message before going abroad

Hello. In MDAC form there is a point " Last Port of Embarkation before Malaysia", so what should I fill here? I will travelling to Malaysia from India with 3 hrs stopover at Singapore without going through the immigration at Singapore.

Sir...with due respect just wanted to rectify the info you shared about last port of Embarkation. You told me to fill Singapore in my case but it's wrong. INDIA is the correct option to be filled as I didn't went outside the immigration area. NOTE: JUST COMPLETED THE TRAVEL LAST WEEK.

Hey @familytraveler1108 it's is not necessary to fill your first destination to fill up , according me and my few friends experience we neeed to fill our last airport, because Malaysia immigration officer just want to know who will come and flight number for his records

Sir you don't need any payment for the tourist visa ,your son need only valid passport, hotel booking ,money , return flight ticket and mdac form only

If your last light fly from India then you must fill embark India and if your last flight from Thailand then you must fill thailand,

Correction : if your PNR is same and you are not going out of immigration area then last Embarkation point will be India. And if you are going out of immigration area to board your flight then it will be Thailand. Based on my personal experience on my last week's travel.

Ager apka layover 15 hr ka hai or ager ap Malaysia me airport se bhar jaynge to apko immigration krna padega iske liye apko mdac form bharna hoga or apko Malaysia ka visit visa lena hoga

I suggest you first you airlines guideline , airlines always mantion all information with connecting flight if transit vise required . 2- if airline don't give the transit information so don't worry Malaysia is visa free for Indian

It's mean ki apko 7 din ke liye tourist visa milega or apko ye proof krna hoga ki ap 7 din me Malaysia se bhar chle jaoge ,or Malaysia se bhar jane ka proof hota hai ki apke pas return confirm flight ticket hona chaiye ,or jha tak mujhe pta hai indian passport holder ke liye Malaysia me tourist visa 30 din ke liye milta hai , ap Malaysia immigration ki official site pe jake ye articles padh skte ho ,or jyada jankari le skte ho ,kyuki shi jankari bhot jruri hai
