Thanks @jessiemae6873! I will primarily be using it when offroading. My group has a lot of tires to refill to street pressures afterwards, but no electricity in ORV parking lots.

make sure you get some kind of airflow across the compressor head! it won't last long otherwise. but that's a fantastic idea I might actually do this.

Yeah I do need to address air cooling for the compressor. Maybe I'll just open up the hole the compressor shaft goes through, since the pulley was designed to double as a fan.

Pretty cool setup from an old snow blower. Have you considered an electric clutch on the engine that cuts in and out based on pressure? That would save wear on the compressor when the desired air pressure is reached. BTW, your welds are perfectly fine for what you are doing.

Thanks! I'm working on a solenoid to engage/disengage the belt since it already has belt tensioner hardware. Just a different way to do the same thing, but using air pressure control.

You're welding, not stirring a pot. No circles! (sorry I can't help myself) Great idea for a clapped out old blower. Not sure if the neighbors would agree though.

@@PaintedSpringsGarage The parts stuck, that is all that matters. I like little Cs for my fabricobbling, but if you want to go a little further down the alphabet, don't let me bother you.
