hey, random question is it possible to light a person and also have a good view out the window? We have the London eye and the houses of Parliament in the background, from the office.

The shallow depth of field really helps sell that brick backdrop; if it was sharp or you shot head on to it, you'd likely see some glare off of it and it would look much worse. Great tips!

I agree! The other thing you'd see is the wrinkles of the fabric on the backdrop, we didn't have time to iron it all out, so shooting at T 1.8 ( i think thats what it was) came in clutch!

If you are talking about the disappearing text effect, that's a masking effect. The effect on the text itself is unknown to me, but you could achieve a similar look by constantly putting paper or grit textures over the text
