Oh man I'm legit holding back tears as I hear this. I've followed several of your tutorials to great success but coming up with new ideas? That can be such a lonely, arduous journey--especially because after a failed attempt that lasted maybe a couple of hours, you sometimes have nothing to show for it. I needed to hear this. I’ve been making composite images for my churches KZfaq video thumbnails for weeks and I’ve experienced everything you spoke of. I’m not an expert by any stretch. What a genuine,precious and precise advise.... Thats what keep me addicted to this channel even i dont actively make photo manipulation but i learnt a lot about creativity, photoshop tricks, artistic approach and much more. This level of content can be created only if you are financially free and love your work. Best photoshop channel i find ever...

Spot on, the hardest part of creating amazing composites is finding all the elements needed. I plan what aspects and subjects I want in my fantasy composites first and like yourself I might spend hours or days getting all the parts I need. Getting the lighting and perspectives accurate is very hard but get this right and you'll have amazing creations 👍😉

Firstly, thank you, you made my day better. As for me, I do not search for all the pictures at once. I search for two or three pictures and start and stop every time I need a picture in this way I do not think about the amount of time I spend searching for pictures and my idea remains renewed and developed with the search, but I also have an idea for more than a year and I have not given up Because I know someday I'll have everything it takes to achieve it

When I saw the title on this video, I thought " YES - Nemanja has the answer" - but it turns out that you experience the exact same problem as I do. And when one find a photo that could have been used, it misses a hand, a leg or half the head, there is too much on it, or it have allready been manipulated so it is useless. However, besides the 3 sources you mention, I find many on Adobe stock, and also Pixelsquid is usefull. But they comes at a price........ :-( But thank you for yet another great video.

It is really hard to find free images. I have a lot of old picture, that I try to use, but they were never intended to be used in combination with other photos, so that is also not ideal. I will soon start to take pictures again with composit in my mind, having an idea and try to take the photo to put the idea into live...never giving up. Thanks for all your videos, they are fun to watch and I learn so much.

Sometimes I "reverse engineer" projects in that I'm casually browsing through images not looking for anything in particular, then "occasionally the image finds me" which sparks an idea I hand't thought of. Usually though it's looking, searching, hunting, browsing....hoping to find the right images. You're so right about it not being easy but be persistent. Thanks for the info tutorial.

I'm still an amateur in the field, but i spend hours on it. I sometimes go to those 3 websites as well and then search different topics and grab those pictures where i see some potential for either the current idea I'm working on, or could work in future ideas.

hi Nemanja, just to follow up on your never give up thing and where to find photos. you can always find other inspiration from things around the house. i wont get into the long story about why i had this spitfire in the house but i was bored on a sunday afternoon and took a toy spitfire out into the back garden , i mounted it on a bbq item ( i dont remember what it was ) but i had to bend it a bit to get some kind of an angle them used blue tac to hold the spitfire in place then i put it into a bucket of sand to keep it sturdy then put the bucket of sand on top of a wheelie bit so it was up high enough for me to get a shot of it from underneath then i just waited for some clouds and took the pic. i also took a few pics of the clouds without the spitfire so i could overlay them on top of the spitfire to give it a look that it had just come out of the clouds. im no pro and just do it for fun . your videos are great and fun to watch and easy to follow. i have done a lot of manipulations just for fun and a lot of the time i use my own things to do them and i also find it more fun and it gets me outbut time is my biggest factor and trying to find enough time to go where i want. here the link on my flickr account to the photo. im not spamming or anything its just the spitfire photo i did to give out a few more ideas. all the very best. www.flickr.com/photos/22677557@N07/26147051999/in/dateposted-public/

This is what I face in my every photo manipulation.. Totally agreed whatever you said.. Sometimes it takes me around 1 week to complete a composition. Minimum was 1 day with selection of 2 photos but rest of the things were created my myself.. 😆

I have a form and it is the one I use the most, my inspiration comes when I see the photo, not when I imagine it, although sometimes I have to hear something and with that I get inspired, reaching the next level in terms of photo manipulation can be done have a low level for a long time? semi rookie XD

I never give up on stack images it's even take me 3 days find them I almost give up but I say I already wasted a lot of time why not make it 2 days more and then I suddenly find the images I want actually make me happy .Believe me don't give up I know it's hard but I believe everyone's who makes Photo Manipulation that he can do it just like I do it I believe on you guys ❤💗

The music made me throw a ring in a volcano! btw. I use a combination of stock and my own. I start with stock because it's easier to make photos using the same light angles and so on.. than it is to find a stock photo matching your photo.

I typically don't find all the photos before I start because as i create the manipulation I come up with new and more creative ideas. Also, i almost never find the exact photo, just hopefully one that I can manipulate successfully to fit into the story. Also, when looking for a photo, like a background I may download several files, use them in combination and what I originally thought would be my first choice is no longer.

Trying to find the best stock is an everyday task ... even if I do not have to make something, I still build my stock library and the ideas come after a lot of stocks all together.As for my manipulations, oh my.... we need to be persistent , yes..
