Book direct. If you actually find a cheaper deal on third party sites, which isn’t always the case, major brands have what they call a best rate guarantee. So just send them a screenshot of the cheaper price and they’ll match and even beat it.

If I’m understanding correctly, I think you would have to send them a screenshot of their exact hotel/room you booked on a third party site for a cheaper price.

If you’re getting rental car with hotel an flight it’s cheaper to use those third party sites and Priceline is good too. I practically got the rental car free with my hotel.

Great suggestions and I love that you got to do more traveling for a reasonable price ($15/night, and going somewhere new, hell yeah!) I also always use an incognito window and VPN to check if any deals are to be found (also, remembering to clear your cookies is important).

I used my AA Airline awards to get a low cost rate for 4 days in Dallas TX and Nashville under $200 for 6 days! Airbnb would have been $600 min bonus is the kitchen though took cook own food but I can take a grill and factor meals and use Groupons to save on food!

There is a hidden gem in Biloxi, Mississippi. The Star Hotel, tell them you saw it for $60, They will honor it and let you pay cash. Also, usually dont charge a deposit. 2 blocks from 6 casinos across from the beach. People living there are friendly. Hope this helps. 1 hour from New Orleans and 1 hour or so from Pensacola .

Hotwire mystery hotel is a fraud , prices are exactly same on the other sites for their so called mystery hotels there is no difference, I know a way to know exactly which hotel they are offering

If I want to stay at a hotel on Friday and Saturday night do I only mark that Friday and Saturday on the calendar.

You would usually mark the days that you are checking in and checking out. So in your case, it would be from Friday to Sunday :-)

Not sure the official name, but if you are on google flights, you can just click the menu button and there is another option that says hotels - that’s the one! :-)

Well Mr based on my experiences I have got 20% less on prices through the internet I find they tend to rip you of through the app .also three ways to do book app the hotel or book one night then ask the hotel if they do discount for cash it has never failed me yet use different phones this tends to confuse booking site thinking your a new customer and give a discount I have saved shit loads but the ultimate saving way is can't tell you secret lol

Don't use priceline. Priceline ripped me off. I ended up paying more than double for a hotel. Don't trust those people.

@@ProjectUntethered I booked a room advertised for $150. Then the fees kicked in, and it was $200. Whatever. The next day (and a city away), I checked my bank account. I had been hit by Priceline for the $200 and there was another charge for $240. I emailed PL, and they said I had checked into two rooms that night.
