Simply awestruck... The timing is ideal, perfectly synchronistic for me to have seen, heard, and fully understood this message- this 'Work' - I have no words to describe how much I feel that I needed to be here now, to receive this gift of wisdom and guidance- so simple yet so profound!! With much love, respect, and gratitude; I just want to somehow convey, to the both of you, my appreciation for sharing this interview with me and with humanity!! This has been, without a doubt, the most significant, useful, informative, and profoundly relevant interview that I've ever seen or heard in my entire life and just WOW... a much-needed fresh perspective!! Thank you for all that you do!! Honesty feel that everything you've said here today & the personal experiences that you both have graciously shared with me: a true wake-up call for me- a life-changer, I can't thank you enough!!! 💞✌️

After training with Byron Katie 7 years ago, I did a worksheet on my dad that took me almost all day because I really got into the feels and traced it back to 3 years old. When I finished, my entire 'family album' had changed, and in healing that moment, all the rest of the moments changed. There was no trace of any unloving events--it was as if they never existed, and I realized that the mind had created something so false based on beliefs of the world. I feel it was difficult for Byron Katie to take Lewis back and really 'get it' or 'break the spell of the illusion' because they are trying to explain it, and not feel it without interruption and 'explanation' or other story questions. It's amazing to heal so completely and have an entirely new story... a story of deep love that I was not able to see before.

So after that moment of healing do you live in complete LOVE?
@AngelicaChristi
@AngelicaChristi 3 жыл бұрын
@@lindybison78 as far as each person I do the deep healing work 'with/on' yes! because I go to the core of myself. Once you do, you realize they were the teacher you 'assigned' to help you. As you know we have layers of wounds spanning many life-times, so sometimes you discover something else, but much easier to heal each time. I am grateful for every player in my movie of life that agreed to play a part for me. I am now being conscious of non-duality-- no judgment as to all judgment or belief in: right or wrong, black or white, good or bad, is creating this duality that we are seeing playing out in the world right now. It's like the dreams that were ignored and turned into a nightmare to get our attention to heal that aspect of self that feels unworthy, not good enough, unloved, shame, a victim... whatever, and acknowledge it, listen to 'it', forgive and love through that healing. This is taking longer, but necessary to step fully into 5D

yes! like when i read Tolles books now, it's his voice im hearing in my head. before i ever heard his voice,( before i had his CDs, & later on youtube) it was my voice i heard when i was reading his book, i gave a copy of New Earth to a friend in crisis, & she was so grateful, she gave me a CD player & some Tolle CDs, i was afraid at first to listen, what if i didn't like his voice? i loved his books so much, i didn't want anything to ruin that, but when i pressed play & heard his voice, it was INSTANT AFFINITY, my fears were groundless.

This is such a touching interview… I actually teared up at the end as you were saying your “goodbyes”! I love her so much. The name “The work” is no joke! It’s shocking how much effort it takes to hold on to a story, and I felt drained as all my blame and excuses didn’t hold validity anymore… the work initially felt exhausting. I encourage everyone to stick with it, because the freedom that becomes present is life altering and brings so much peace! Still feeling it years later and have a reference point to work thru anything. ❤🙏

Hi Lewis, I'm looking at / listening to this video with Byron Katie in April 2021. And I had just had a wow moment, as I grew up in Christian Science too in the 60's. Mary Baker Eddy established her religion, Christian Science in the early 1900s / late 1800s. I am not a Christian Scientist now, however a lot of the learning I gained as a child gave me an 'open heart' and I'm grateful for that. Thank you for this interview with Byron Katie. Rosalie :)

I love this interview! Just like all of your interviews! Lewis... a note on the story of the monks... the lady didn't complain; the issue was that monks were not supposed to touch women. So a couple hours after the head monk had placed the woman on the other side, the novice monk ask the elder monk about him picking up the woman. That's when the Elder Monk said that he had placed her down and that the novice monk was still carrying her. Love you, Lewis. Also, love your team and everything that you all do! I love that you brought up Mary Baker Eddy--I too was raised CS, and when I first started doing the work, listening to Katie, I'd map her sayings to MBE's teachings, quote for quote. I came to realize the difference was only in the vernacular; MBE's message needed to be in the lingo of mainstream Christianity--but by the time she got through with redefining God, Christ, etc., that there is no difference from what Katie is saying in the lingo of our times. What could be clearer than "There is no substance in matter"? That God is mind, soul, spirit, life, truth and love? CS as a religion was taken over by men intent in using the institution (and the protections offered by Congress) to rake in piles of cash. MBE intended for her work to be free to all but her intentions were thwarted by the board of directors after her death. Katie reframed what I learned as a child in such a way that does not require the scaffolding of any particular religion or belief system, attending church, or understanding obsolete 19th century cultural concepts and terminology. There is no separation, no difference--they even look alike, with the white hair and the same kind, loving smiles on their faces.The universe is kind.

Ecclesiastes 1: There is nothing new under the sun. Who would ever think that a cockroach could bring you joy? This was truly a Kafkaesque experience! She metamorphosed right there! The ego is the life we live in the body, and I think because it is temporary, it’s not spiritual, that’s what makes it “not real”. The hug thing gave me the feels. These are things we don’t do because of the hurt we are afraid of digging up. My mother was the same way. Always busy. “Go outside and play!” was her favorite command. Ideally my mom would be with me every step of the way, helping me get badges, with my homework, letting me help her. Instead of go outside and run around the house! Later in my 20s she would call, “I just wanted to know you haven’t fallen off the face of the earth.” Everyone is grown and flown out of the nest and now she has time. The tables were turned. You have to schedule time with the people you love. She’s right, what she’s saying takes a lot of mental gymnastics to understand, and thus to articulate it, but only because we have not been raised to think this way, unless you were raised in Christian Science... Peace, Harmony, Love, Hope & Resurrection! Faith!

33.23 moment when we say goodbye to our pain attached and wake up parents in ourselves and be present. Uh. That one was rough. At first, tiers made my eyes blur and soon after the world become sharper. Thank You, Lewis!
