How do you give credit for the design on a T-shirt? Or is this something you would put in the listing description?

So suppose if I am launching a new design on my brand and there is no restriction over the use of image rather than giving credit so I just have to write and give credit to the real owner/creator of it and I am done right???No copyright now...???

Hi ! This is an interesting question and indeed a grey area when it comes to CC. My first impulse is to say no and to instead pay attention to the distribution permissions for that image, as long as it's commercial, it should be fine. However if the licensing for that image specifically says that it cannot be modified but still can be distributed commercially, it would be better to get a hold of the artist and confirm. You don't want to be wrapped up in a potential lawsuit so better to be sure! - Talish

Hi there! The public domain which is covered under designation CC0, means that image can be used, edited, and shared without any restriction.

Hi! We're not fully sure what your question is. Can you clarify, please? Many sites may have in their terms of service that you cannot sell designs if they are standalone, meaning you can't use the design by itself. It needs to be made unique with other elements or text.

on the other side, Printify is horrable when they missclassiy a design, and refuse to do the work even you provied them with information an proff it a common design and not copyrighted because it cant be. beware they more than happy to not do anything
