How to find gene information from NCBI gene ID | Transcript ID | Gene name from NCBI

Sometime we get the NCBI gene ID but did not know the other information like chromosome on which the gene is located, gene’s start end position on chromosome, nucleotides present in the gene, gene size, protein size in term of amino acid. So we use that NCBI gene ID to find such information through NCBI database.

Well explained, my genes contain the NCBI references ID, after finding the information according to your method so do I need to replace NCBI reference ID with another one for further analysis?

Would it be possible to find the gene ID on NCBI, given that I downloaded my gene of interest on Phytozome??

Every database has their own Gene ID or Gene number. You can get the Gene ID from NCBI as well

You are working on which specie. It is also mentioned in the Gene Information, But only available when an organism is completely sequenced
