It is illegal to charge any amount by agency .. he can charge only to house owner

The way is one guys. Have a big salary and you will find anything you want. Of course there will be some discrimination and Dutch people are preferred most of the times.

Hi! So all you need to keep in mind is that, the municipality needs some kind of address to send you the letter (for taxes, other information). So, the best thing you can do is, come here, go to the local municipality the same day and they will tell you what to do.

Will the university let you know that you didn't get housing? Because we have been waiting now for 2.5 weeks and still no word from Student housing.

What do you mean waiting for them? You have to apply for a housing and book a room on a date they provide.

@@SparkleTogether I applied for housing on June 2, when online applications opened. Paid the fee and now Ive just been waiting for them to contact me. So I wanted to know how long does it take for them to let me know if they found me housing?

Okay. So please email them for a follow-up and they will respond. It doesn't take this long usually.
