Avoid getting scammed if you are looking for a new puppy. My recommendation is always to do your research on the right breed and personality and then look for a rescue puppy. However there have been very few puppies up for adoption recently around here. Lots of friends have been turning to breeders, especially for small low-shedding mixes. I know several amazing breeders through word of mouth but I have also heard of terrible scammers. Check out a few tips and quaestions to ask that may help you find out if a dog breeder is legitimate.
