I love that you're able source for sooooo cheap! I'm so jealous. I love in the Seattle area and our Goodwills are pricing things really high. I envy that you can find shoes $3-$7. That NEVER happens in my area. Thanks for your insights. I'm new to your channel but loving your contents.

I haven't been in a Goodwill in a while, but I do recall their prices being higher than other thrift stores. But even the stores I go to know are slowly starting to price certain brands at outrages prices. Thanks a bunch for watching!!

Wow! You are able to find beautiful shoes in great condition in your area. The shoes that are available here in the thrift stores are worn out. That's why I go to garage sales.

I started sourcing Mens shoes because I wasn’t finding enough women’s shoes that would sell over $50. So glad I branched out. I found Tods loafers for $20 and sold for $200. Tony Lama boots, 2 pair of Red Wing boots, John fluevog sneakers, Johnson & Murphy boots.

Great point. Unfortunately the mens shoe section is about half the size of womens at these thrift stores. But I will make a bigger effort to educate myself on mens foot wear. Thanks for this insight!

Excellent video as always. Why don't call shoes NEW if you really see they were not used? Buyer doesn't want you tell them all story of the life of this pair, name og the previous owner ect ect. Buyer wants to be sure about condition. If someone bought shoes, kept them in the closet, never used, then donated - THEY ARE STILL NEW. That's the only one think that important - condition!

I ordered pants once on Poshmark that were NWT. They werent new, didnt have tags, and werent in good condition. I felt so cheated. I think thats why I feel weary saying they are "new" if I don't know for sure by them having tags attached. I just put "Like new. No flaws." in my listings of shoes that are in excellent condition but no tags.

@@SandraTheMomBoss specially when we sell shoes they have a lot of signs if they were worn at least 1 time, insoles, outsoles, edges.... I am sure you "loose" sales when you don't describe them like "new". they have even NWOT famous new without tag. Sometimes with dress or jacket you really can not say if they were worn, but with shoes....

Sandra is right here. You may lose a sale because someone is looking for new but you will gain many more by instilling trust that when they view the photos and see the description that they know they can count on you to deliver an item that exceeds expectations. I 100% agree with her approach.

What about heel drag? Do you frequently pick up shoes that have those signs of wear? How much do you lower the price because of it?Many shoes that I see in the thrift stores have it and I worry that they will not sell because of it.

I don't mind a tiny bit of heel drag on the edges if the shoe is good enough in all other areas. If it's too smooth on the bottom sole I leave it behind.

Great video! Thank you! I'm moving over to shoes/boots so I appreciate this video. Do you only look for real leather in your boots - cowboy or the others. Is faux leather ok? PS...All those shoes look like you've already cleaned them!

Thanks so much for sharing this video. I find some amazing shoes at the thrift store but they mark the bottom of the shoes with a permanent marker which seeps into the rubber lining of the shoe that makes it impossible to remove. do you have any tips on how you work around that? I have several pairs like that that are just sitting here because I haven’t been able to get the permanent marker price off.

What I use is Goo gone, nail polish remover, or a mr. clean magic eraser. Depending on type of marker either of those work. What I've hear people mention they use is sand paper, wd40, olive oil, pure acetone, or just write over the price with another marker.
