Hii.. I am planning to move to Munich soon..I heard that rent is very high in Munich.. Could you please suggest me some outside location (within 20-30 kms range) where the rent is less and it’s couple friendly like kid and school systems near by to that location?

Hi Jegan, how to find an accommodation in Germany without pay slip? We are European living in Norway, but want to relocate to Germany My husband is a bus driver already has his amedon and has open an account. currently registered has an address under a friend in Germany but want to relocate with his family so need bigger house for his family but finding job and accommodation is the problem. Do you have any idea? We will like to find accommodation out of Berlin like 1 hour or 2 hour away from Berlin or even maybe in another city that are cheaper

Hi Josephine, Usually if you have the job contract from a German employer, then that can be used for accommodation before getting the payslips. But if you do not have job contract or payslips, I heard you can show your savings as a proof ( I only know this theoretically but do not know how it works). If that is not possible, the last option is get a surety/guarantor letter from your friend or someone who lives in Germany. Bürgschaft is the German word for it. You can do a bit more research on this.

Hello Very recently we moved to Germany for 3 years and staying in hotel temporarily,we are searching for house in or around Neutraubling (Regensburg),Germany . Unfortunately we are not getting one ,any suggestions would be very helpful. And who can help us furnishing the unfurnished house immediately on affordable rates because here they want us to wait for Weeks or months.

Hi, If it is feasible to commute from Regensburg, you can also try there. But, of course it is difficult to find an accommodation quickly. Also furnishing the house with some agency will be really expensive. So doing by yourself is the affordable option. Or you can also use Ikea's services.

Since you mentioned hotel accommodation for 45days,how you managed city registration since They require house contract.

Hi, I chose the hotel that gave us the Registration possiblity. Here hotels do have studio apartments too. So before booking, I confirmed with hotel about registeration and then booked it.

Hi, did you apply for residence permit while staying in temporary hotel or did you apply after moving to permanent accommodation.

I applied from hotel itself. Even if you change address later, no problem. All Govt systems are linked here. So foreign authorities will be updated about your new communication details

Great question. You can use your blocked account details as financial proof. Also, some hotel/studio type of accommodations do not ask for such proofs as well.

Yes, sending mails or sending messages through the portals is a first step. After that you need to fill an application form and attach your supporting documents like payslip etc. and handover it to the house management company or to the owner.

Sure. Meanwhile, you can also approach Agentur für Arbeit in your area. They will suggest or help you to get a part time job or some useful Ausbildung (Apprenticeship) kind of trainings. From there you can start your career here.
