There are over 5,500 companies listed on Indian stock market. While investigating good companies to invest, if you start reading the financials of each and every single stock, then it might take years.
Moreover, it doesn’t make sense to read the balance sheet, profit & loss statements or cash-flow statements of all the listed companies, if you can filter them out based on just a few preliminary filters like debt or growth rate.

Great video, man. Ive been reading Phils Tows Rule #1 book. In it he talks about margin of safety, finding a great company going cheap and that is likely to earn you 15% a year. Some of the criteria you entered sounded similar but what else would I type in for the ones I mentioned. I mean, what would I type in in regards to figures. How can I find out if the company is selling 50% or so below its 'sticker' price?
