With the given sides of parallelogram, how can you get the area?

If you are just given the side lengths you do not have enough information to find the area!

What if you're not given the base just a length of the 2 sides and an angle?

Hello! I'm assuming you mean you have the lengths of the sides, but not the height? If that is the case, you can find the height using the info they gave you, but you will also need trigonometry. Not a simple question they have given you!

@@Nabifroese okay so I'm studying for the GRE and they gave me the sides of the parallelogram 4 and 6. They gave me two quantities A and B. A is the area of the parallelogram and B is 24. But so all they wanted me to do was estimate that the base would be less than the hypotenuse 6 so it would be less than 24. No trig stuff on the GRE. Lol but I was sooo confused before 😅 thanks for the video because I haven't done this math since high school!
