How to find the BEST ALC SETTINGS (Apex Legends)

Күн бұрынEver since i switched to controller I was obsessed while trying to find the perfect controller settings, I tried many pros settings but neither felt right, so I ran some drills in the firing range and tuned my ALCs until I found the right settings for me. I still have a lot to improve as a player and I'm excited to keep improving every day, hope you enjoy!

My problem is I play good with pretty much all the different sensitivities I use but I just keep changing them for some reason if you have any tips to try and stick to one I would like to know and I always copy other KZfaqrs ones and can’t make my own

It's called honeymoon phase syndrome. I totally made that up but I have the same issue. I'm good with all different sensitivities but only temporarily. I end up getting worse as time goes on, but changing my sens makes me feel good again (temporarily).

@bigembutido4429 it's because when you change sens too much the change faster or slower feels good at first because you become more hyperfocused. Also example making sensitivity slower can make it feel slow and stable at first until u get used to it and then it begins to feel fast again for some reason which can throw u off. This hsppens ecause we also lack consistency. I recommend trying your best not to switch at all and try to do training routines until your brain has no choice but to commit to getting better with the sens.

@@otrz8009 ye but right now idk if to stick with my sense I was running 4-3 linear small deadzone for a while then switched to no deadzone played amazing for the day then next day shit again so should I just go back to small deadzone

I really need to get a faster sens for my movment my current alcs make stuff like mantle jump and etc not possible (im playing 4-4 linear) im somewhat struggeling with small adjustments at longer ranges and flicks (for flicks the sens is just too slow in ads)

So play 5-3 or 5-4. Bro u really don't need to mantle jump. It's an excessive movement mechanic only useful if u can utilise it properly like MnK players.

What outer thresholds would you recommend? So far I've tried 1 and 2 (I don't use extra yaw or pitch in my alcs, btw).

didn't touch em, they're on default, just tuned the ADS yaw and pitch

I cant find a ads sens. Ive used 120 for my ads for about a year now. i have really good beams and recoil control but after a while I just become garbage again. Feels like im not pulling the thumbstick even when i am

trying changing your response curve, when i used classic (8 or 10 response curve) i had that exact same feeling like i'm not pulling my thumbstick enough. Linear (0 or 4 response) feels best for me

@@itsroguely ive been playing on linear actually. I was using a 1 curve for most of 2022. Went to a 5 curve for a bit, then i went to 0 about 2 months ago. 120 ads was just too slow and thats what the problem was i think. Using a 170 now its good at range & is good in close range

What controller do you use and what type of stick do you have on them; short or tall?

I the elite 2 but struggle with recoil control especially over distance. I use the tall stick and can get twitchy. Presently on 4 response curve but been playing on 0 for a while now. This is a good video though, informative and shares result. Relatable as well

@@DevaDemon8 i play on a PS4 scuf controller with a tall right stick kontrol freek, helps with micro adjustments

Custom, only thing i change is L1 for ADS R1 for fire, Down on the D Pad for healing and left D Pad for grenades

It wasa an LTM they brought back last month i think. It's gone for now but it will comeback as a permanent mode next season. first 3 weeks will be TDM and then they introduced a "Mixtape" playlist which includes Control, TDM & Gun Run, big W from Respawn

Hmm, yeah seems about right but my recoil control and tracking could never I'm just not much of a FPS player, I think I mostly use movement to win my fights cuz my aim isn't very dependable I almost exclusively play mixtape when I'm not practicing in the firing range, cuz I just wanna practice every combat skill and BR doesn't really appeal to my desire to fight and chill At the same time, the fact that death has little to no consequence in mixtape and my lax attitude may be why I don't really track my enemies that well-- cuz I definitely can, but I'm rarely focused enough to Not to mention I'm always being caught by surprise and making reckless plays that my skills can't back up maaaaan

Wrong. Alcs are more personalized. Its just that majority of the apex player base does not have the time to find there own settings and create muscle memory. In a perfect world everyoje would play Alcs with 0 resposne curve

@toblul3741 it's really not look at 90% of controller preds and pros that play algs almost all are 4-4 /4-3 you are a casual you are irrelevant so are your opinions hit top 100 pc pred like me then come back
