No, there was no parking lot at the time. Bryans car was parked on the side of the road and that was known at the time as nice remote place to go, it was a bit of hike to get to the waters edge. I think it was just by chance he came a crossed the car on the side of the road and knew they would be out there. I would think this was more about opportunity VS stalking or being planed. Now the killing of Paul Stine I would say was planed, having Paul take him to the corner of Cherry and Washington St. having the Presidio park to disappear into which is only a block and a half away. I would say all the other killings were done from the aspect of opportunity. Now the killing that happened in Blue Rock Springs, he left and then returned to kill but I would still say that was a quick decision based on opportunity.

@@davidharrick469 I don’t think it was by chance..that area looks very remote..nobody is just by chance gonna walk out there for nothing. The freak zodiac must have seen them and followed them out to that specific spot. And why would the zodiac be there in the first place…

I was hoping Chris would have passed by this area in this video. The car was reportedly parked on Knoxville road, 500 yards from the crime scene. Crime scene photos show the vehicle as being parked in a dirt shoulder next to some wire fencing. The Zodiac had parked right behind their car.

Think about it. He most likely intended to kill Mike Mageau. He succeeded with Ferrin but failed with Mageau. So if one of the victims did survive without him knowing it and described what he looked like he would be toast.
