Today, we are going to explain the volume of a solid cylinder with the help of vernier calliper in high/higher secondary school labs:
To find the volume, First we have found the zero error in the device,in this video,my device has no zero error.Then,I put the cylinder in external jaws crosssectionally, and noted the reading of the main scale which was 1 cm then noted down the reading of the vernier scale,which was 0 and multiplied with the least cout of vernier calliper,0.01 CM. so we got 0×0.01=0 CM.
now
thus we the diameter to be 1 CM.
then I repeated the same process and found the length of the cylinder.then I applied the formula of volume .i.e., V=pr^2L
