the dressing your truth system helped me find my style. I'm a Type 4/1. Pure hues are what look the best on me. Once i learned that shopping is SOOOOOOOOOO much easier

I would say that the step of looking into your wardrobe, donating-selling the pieces that you don't like and realising which pieces you like the most is more effective before going shopping, so you don't spend more money on pieces that maybe you've already had

my mum wont ,lemme thrift due to skin diseases and whatnot ;-; what do I do? also, im in middle school and I dress like with halter tops, off shoulder, blazers, flare pants, that kinda classy stuff, or badgirl moto jackets or dr martens/platform black laced up boots style... and really, I wanna wear all these things, but I feel as if it would be too fancy....Your opinions? im like in last year of middle school!(PS any cheap moto jacket or boots I could get under 75 bucks???)
