I had fun doing the mood board and came up with my signature style which is natural, vintage, and dramatic.

Really good and easy to use tips! I totally agree with you about starting small, thinking of a capsule as a vacation capsule creates limitations (of time and size). I’ve found that limitation allows for more creativity and makes the process more manageable and fun. I noticed for example that you kept a very limited color palette in your selections, neutrals, pinks, and red.

Great tips! Over the years I've definitely begun to hone my personal style. I love wearing black, navy and white, and enjoy shirts and midi skirts for a smarter look! I definitely try to stick to items that I know I like rather than trying to follow trends, though I occasionally get inspiration from other people's outfits. The mood board idea is great, as it can definitely be used for home decor and accessories! Lovely video. :)

Hi Giedre, Thank you so much for these very helpful videos. I have a question, did you keep favourite clothes that fit before you had your son, so that you could hopefully wear them again one day, or did you only hold into clothes that fit for right then? I have had three children, youngest is two years old and I still have a full wardrobe full of beautiful but much too small clothing. I want to wear these items again but the reality is, they may never fit me again, in my current life. It is hard to accept this at times. It would be difficult to get rid of the clothes, some of which were expensive, but maybe I need to? I feel I'm dressing in very boring clothing waiting for the day I can be stylish again, this doesn't feel good, like my personal style is on hold. I wonder should I keep these clothes for my daughters when they are older, or just let go. I prefer to be more minimalist in the amount I own. I have Fred Flintstone feet and must adjust my personal style to accommodate the shoes that are comfortable. Thank goodness for Birkenstock and Frye boots to allow this old lady’s freak flag to fly. My sister used to ask herself, “what would this look like if I slept in it?” Many of my summer dresses (linen) could easily be slept in and when they get a little too wabi sabi then they are pjs that can be worn to walk the dog in the morning.
