Finishing school can often be seen as a rush to the end. Blake emphasizes the importance of slowing down and thanking those that helped you get to the end.
Blake has been a TEDx conference host, a featured TEDx speaker and is the author of The Campus Life Guide. He has shared the stage with CBC’s Rick Mercer and his message with countless student audiences. Blake is known for his creative approach to community building, both back in school and in present day.

I came here because I am having a hard time dealing with the end of high school, all the lows, the highs. I’ll miss them all, and I’ll miss everyone that mattered. I’ve been so focused on graduating and leaving my country that I forgot what I was leaving behind, I took everything for granted and Thank god I’m realising it now and not too late. I’ve never felt this way before, but i am no stranger to strong emotions. No matter what I trust in god and in my self to take me to where I am supposed to be all while appreciating my past and the people that matter.

This is exactly how I feel right now. I thought I knew what I wanted and where I wanted to go, I don’t know who I am and my goals don’t feel accomplished at all. I feel so incredibly stuck.

I watched him speak at my high school, and he brought me to tears. An amazing public speaker!!

I watched this in class today and it really hit me. Thank you Blake, truly thank you. I’m a senior in High School and it really put into perspective how special this last year is.

9:52 is literally me. Diagnosised with social anxiety and now am shocked at everything I was able to do. It's past my wildest dreams of what I thought was possible when I started.

I came here hoping to look for motivation. I'm 4 months in school and have 4 and a half months to go in already skipping and I hate that but I don't know how I'll get through the next few months. It's so hard for me especially when hardly anyone in my family has graduated. Plus working is hard at the same time I've had covid and I go back Thursday and I'm so nervous.. I'm ready to graduate already bc I'm starting to slow down when I'm so close to the finish line.

unfortunately, with my dad not wanting me to go to the one highschool nearby cause of his own opinions, i can only do online school, and being not very convo initiating is difficult with it, but ive had a lot of time for mental growth with accepting myself despite my appearance, admittedly still, my skills and qualities other people would appreciate but i dont, and other stuff like that. so theres always something good from it, but dammit i wanna socialize lol
