How to fire up a 100+ year old Bing steam locomotive 1 scale

Жыл бұрынShowing my Bing Black Prince in 1 scale. A beautiful 100+ year old locomotive. Made in 1909 by the Brothers Bing in Nurenberg Germany (Bavaria at that time) for the English market. It survived somehow 2 world wars! And it ended up in my collection a few years ago. It was found in a basement somewhere in Belgium. It needed some work, but 99% is original!

That is a great film. The 'Black Prince' was, in its day, a top of the line scale model. It is still a good looking model today - great indeed to see this one working so nicely.

Hey, thanks for sharing all your true antique trains and live steam models. I gained an audience over my shoulder while watching, and had to freeze frame it in several places to just stop and look around at all the stuff in the background. A lot of fun to watch.

Not all its original parts! The pistons are new and the cilinders have a new bore. The rest is indeed original. It is one of my favorite locomotives. Beautiful looks and sound!
