How to fit an Abarth stripe, and other big car and van decals

In this video, John from to the Garage fits Stripes to his 595 Abarth called 'Snoopy'. However this video may be useful for anyone who wants to fit Stripes large stickers or other decals/graphics to any car van or motorhome.

I saw a Smart Car the other day painted like an Oreo Cow. Yours is about the same shape and the white base color is all ready. Use paper towels instead of cloth that has been machine washed because they likely have silicones on them from dryer sheets. Does the car go faster now with the stripe on? Lovely to see Jo on this video.

Can be done dry Alan. but if you make a mistake you are in trouble. And im not THAT good😁

Hi Gary. Yes I think the bigger and the more 3 dimensional the decal the more the wet approach helps. Until you get up to car wraps , but that a whole other 'stretchy' adventure👍

@@ToTheGarage I use just a combo of water and IPA. No soap.
