What is the use of putting tempered glass?

You put tempered glass when separating lcd to its frame to add support to the lcd so that it wont break that easily

I mean you can if you have the drivers, heat gun/laser, ESD Mat/strap, blades etc. If you're just changing Screen/Digitizer buy the replacement piece from Samsung or Amazon. They go anywhere from 385-575 or take advantage of Samsungs Promo right now and get you're phone fixed for 99 plus tax!

Have one with a cracked screen... thought $300 to replace is a bit much - maybe do it myself.... Then I watch this... All the little special tools?! What is the vice like machine at 4:31 doing? what's the humming? What's happening at 11:50-12:15ish - machine humming, nothing seems to be going on... I gotta get special glue, too? and some small oil thing as I loosen the screen? YIKES! Think I'll live with some spider cracks, fork up $300, or go back to the S9...
