My overhead dvd player in my van stopped working right before our cross country roadtrip and so I had to find some way to fix it. this video documents how I did it myself.

I have one in my 2003 mazda tribute I ha e a headliner dvd and I csnt figure out why theirs no power too it if somebody would plz help me it would be very appreciated

I have a 2014 buick enclave, some dvds work and some dont. So idk if i need to replace the whole unit.. or just the screen like you did, or somethings wrong with where it reads the dvds at the radio. Please give me some good advice if you can before i call the dealer and spend a fortune. I also have 4 kids, and really need it fixed as you said its vital for the kiddos and my sanity 😅

well done sir. you broke down what looks like a daunting task into something manageable. Two things would still make me a bit nervous...first dealing with a junk yard. Second are what you called the christmas tree fasteners. I find them nigh impossible to remove without collateral damage. is there a trick to it?

I was just quoted 1700 from the Chrysler dealership yesterday to replace my 2nd row screen. 😂 Sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesn't so I think it's a connection and not the actual screen? I'm definitely going to check my local U pull. I never would have thought of that. Thanks!
