How to fix a garbage disposal in five minutes (safely!)

In this video, the plumbing experts at CroppMetcalfe show you how in six easy steps.
CroppMetcalfe technicians have repaired hundreds of clogged in-sink disposals, and often the problem can be fixed simply (if you’re careful.) Here are the steps they recommend you try before you call the plumber. All you need is a flashlight and maybe an Allen wrench to fix most clogged or jammed garbage disposals. NOTE: Our disposal is plunged into a GFI circuit that can trip even when disposal is fine -- or needs to be cleared or reset. Check the GFI outlet by pushing reset button! Easy fix before calling anyone.
