Man I would love to hire you to come fix my drive! We have multiple inclines and declines with a mix of soil types underneath. It's just a total headache, and I'm tired of adding rock, but it's also too expensive for me to afford paving right now. Plus I love the aesthetic of gravel leading up to my hilltop! If you work in the North Georgia area, I could give you some great content for the channel!

That was a very difficult driveway if I say so, some tight low spots, very narrow, and having a deep ditch in places also makes for a touchy gravel spread, truck gets in there its a messy fix up for sure. I have an old Essick VR6400 vibrio smooth drum pull behind packer that I use on the skid steer weights about 3 tons and rolls like nothing else, just have to never stop in one place and forget to stop the vibration or its stuck for sure 🙄. Great job on that driveway 👍🏻

nice work! i noticed the roller was being used in the middle of the road, do you typically run the roller on one side of the road or the other to keep the crown? also, when the road turns do you prefer to bank the road instead of crowning? thanks man! super cool to see your son learning!!!

We will roll down both sides and the middle. The pitch or crown depends on the situation. Thanks for your feedback!

@@JohnnyLazear Our crushed has various aggregate up to about 1 inch. It is the cheapest grade available in our area.

It depends if there is enougb aggregate. We will typically put down fabric on native soil.

Pave it. 30% grade is going to be hard to maintain.
