I'm going to show you how to take off and fix and reattach the snow blower wheel, I forgot to mention in the video before reattaching the wheel, grease the axle with some wheel bearing grease or anti-seize lubricant.

Thank you for the tip. For years, I have used anti cease grease to my 12 year old Ariens snowblower wheels. I always have a problem taking 1 of 2 wheels off to add grease, and I have a hard time putting wheel back on. It never dawned to me, it's the pin hole as your video shows. Although, I just got my snowblower ready for this winter two days ago, after seeing your trick, I just purchased a grinding stone for my hand drill from Amazon. I will be doing your trick as soon as I get the grinding stone. I bet that is my problem with that stuck wheel. Even though I have a thick layer of anti cease grease on shaft. Thanks again for the tip.

I just saw your response today's January 27, 2024, let me know if my tip fixed the problem with your snow blower wheels?

@arthur.chingros777 Although I did receive the grinding stone not long after I posted, I decided to wait until this Spring when I normally change sparkplug and grease all before putting in summer storage. I'll try to remember to update this post then, but I will for sure be grinding each wheel hole this Spring. It's only the one wheel I have a problem getting off and on, even though the wheel shaft has a good coating of grease.

How about using a countersink to deburr the hole edges?

The grinding stone I used worked just fine.

Maybe an angle grinder with a flap disk will work good too!

I have used anti seize in the past but if I get it on the tires or my clothes or fingers it is very hard to remove therefore sometimes I just use wheel bearing grease on the axles before I put the snowblowers wheels back on.
