I modified LEGO Star Wars set 75362 Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle to include plating and tiling underneath the wing to match the top side.
I also customized Huyang to match his modifications in Ahsoka season 3, episode, 2 where he is training Sabine on Ahsokas ship.

What I did was build a stand that allows for me to have the ship upright, with the wings on an angle above and below the cockpit displayed on one side. So I didn't need to bother about the underside. It lookspretty good.

i just picked up this set recently and will definitely be following the underside guide. i think the reason why the set feels so small is because the cockpit is so small compared to the rest of the ship. i feel like there would be a pretty easy guide to widen and lengthen the cockpit to fit at least 2 figs

I just bought this tonight. I had no idea the underside was so incorrect. I'm not terribly familiar with the Clone Wars series as a whole, but I did want the Ahsoka figure and I do think the ship is cool. Ahsoka is already pretty expensive on Bricklink, so I think it's better to just buy the whole set while you can get it for retail price.

great mods! I have to say the back side doesn't really bother me in terms of display as I'll only be showing one side, but I imagine I'll feel let down when it comes to my build experience with this set. We shall see on Tuesday when I put it together!

The main mod I'm planning on doing with my shuttle is using the canopy piece from the OG Jedi Shuttle, make it to where the cockpit can fit two figures again. I know this is going to take alot of work, but I'm up for the challenge.

@@firebirdbricks Thanks! I have the set and I'm constantly tinkering with it, the cockpit is too wide, and I have to make sure it doesn't come off as oversized. But I think if I handle things juuuust right, I can fit in 3 figures, one in front, two in the back. But we'll see! Two is the goal, three is just the bonus. But I'm going between the OG and new Jedi Shuttle to kinda help me with the designing.

@@8lynx817 Still working on it actually, thanks for checking in! It's turned out to be a little tricky. See my problem here is that i'm trying to stick to the parts provided with a limited amount of extra pieces, but my difficulty is that the cockpit ends up looking a tad too big and it's tight on the rotation, so I'm just all sorts of afraid of needing to remake the wings, or worst, expand the wings, which defeats the purpose of my goals. I should mention that I am no expert, I have this feeling that once I manage to perfect my design, there will probably be someone that did what I did but better, complete with instructions at the ready. I'm just very passionate about modifying and improving star wars sets lol But I'm still working on, I will admit that I did underestimate this set and the parts I'd work with. But I have some thing I need to experiment with, if I remove the stud shooters and slightly remake the wings at that opening, so long as the head is just wider and not thicker, I think it could still look proportionate, but just a touch inaccurate. Because I was doing was taking the OG Jedi Shuttle's cockpit and just shoving it on the body of the new one, and that just wasn't working out.

Thanks for posting this, it makes a huge difference to the ship and agreed, it should have been this way from the get go. Just my opinion but your timelapse when bulding the collar pieces around the rotating assembly was a bit too fast. Had to slow it down to 0.25 and still rewind a couple times to get it. But otherwise thanks very much once again, this was great! Overall the ship was a bit of a let down as its probably half the size it should have been, but then the price would have been way higher so I get what Lego did.

color matching the parts is hard for my first attempt at using thee brick store. I ended up buying whites not light greys and have two different shades of red. Not sure how I screwed those up. Waiting for the non-local pieces to arrive (all the triangular plates and inverted pieces)

It's sad how the overall quality of the sets and even the parts (like color variations or bent pieces) decreases every year... of course there are exceptions, but there's a visible trend

I'll uprgade Ahsoka and Marrok. I'll give Ahsoka her rebels lightsaber hilts. and 2 gray capes on her back and one on the front (for her poncho she is wearing) and then black or brown cape for Marrok. Have a nice day!

It really does show you just how cheap lego has been going for the past feew years ,raising prices ,making kits smaller for the price and the quality of the overall kit just does not seam to be there anymore ,those pieces should of been in the kit to begin with for 80 dollars

Yeah I think it wouldn't have been a big deal on some other ships, but with the main play feature being the spin, it really doesn't make sense with this ship.

can I be honest, but admittedly dickish? Like, no shit. Of all of the mods of any mod to ever mod, this feels like it was the most obvious out of all of them, ever. One that didn't ever even need a video. Ever. At best, you saved people from having to do the comparison to the other side. like 10% engineering was done. The rest was obvi.

I thought it would be pretty straight forward to just use the exact same parts as the top side, but it ended up being more complex because of the lack of inverted 45 degree tiles and no sticker on the bottom. I am not saying this was particularly difficult, but it wasn't the most simple thing ever. Regardless, seems like plenty of people in the comments here appreciate the video, so I'll continue to make these mod videos from time to time, even if they are simple. Lots of people out there just want a parts list and direct instruction on this kind of thing instead of having to work it out for themselves.

Unfortunately if Lego put all that detail on the underside, the price would be even higher and some of the same people criticizing that would be the same people praising the build. Lego really can't win.
