I spent an hr on the phone with Samsung this morning after their most recent update did this very specific thing...I could no longer control my media (Spotify, Audible, etc) from my lock screen. I was having to unlock my phone and go over a page to hit pause or remind or whatever. I really wanted this fixed because if I'm listening to something while at work I need to be able to quickly pause it. Samsung tried, he really did. But he never could figure out how to get it to go back. I tried a million things before calling them too. My issue was at the very beginning of this video--just cleared the cache and cleared the data of the apps. Logged back in and what do you know! Thank you so much!!

I had battery drainage issue, freezing apps and home screen. I know is painful but when I get an upgrade I back up my stuff and factory reset my phone, to kind of really engrave the software update. It has worked 100% for me. And for me setting up my phone again is fun anyways. But is a really good idea to do first what this video shows you. Thanks for the video by the way.

That is an absolutely unreasonable thing to have to do, especially when we have no choice about updates - they are forced on us at whatever time Samsung deems them convenient. I have over 250 GB of content on my phone. Backing up and re-applying all of my content is not feasible at all - it would take forever, if I even have enough storage space elsewhere to do it.

I use advanced system care. I can power boost my phone, and it force stops all app that I pick on the list. I would stop all auto updates on factory apps I don't use, and uninstall the updates already installed. I then clear that cache, and data. It is also good to always check if your network switched to global. It should be set on the middle option. LTE/CDMA, because it usually switches to global during the update.

Any idea why after yesterday's software update on my S10 +, I can no longer get access to the Net when I use it as a Mobile Hotspot. The device using the hotspot accesses the Net fine, but the S10+ just sits there doing nothing. We tried restarting both phones - no change. I always had both working up until the update. Thanks

I had an boot loop after the yesterday's update on my A71. Funny that on my A50 everything proceeded normally. Already wiped the cache, had to shut it down or otherwise will keep restarting. Also I couldn't make a backup, any fix? I really don't want to lose all my data...

Help please, since the first update on my Samsung a20, my lockscreen display and settings are non-functional. I can't change clockstyles or even edit them... I can't even update the lock screen or select the "About lockscreen" option. Recently, when I installed the new updates (3 months back) the lockscreen (updates) looks too large for my screen... It's like my lockscreen zoomed in. The entire effect is annoying. Please help, and the lockscreen option seems to be the only issue

I have a Samsung a20, recently I updated to Android 11 and now fast charging doesn't work, the screen shows Fast charging but it actually takes 2 hours to fully charge but when I turn off the phone and connect the charger it doesn't take long to charge, I did a factory data reset but still same problem?!!

Sorry I had to do this in 2 messages but one of the glitches is the video minimizing and I lose my post. Just disappears. I notice that the icon buttons on the bottom that are usually invisible will pop up for a second before this happens. I can't access certain events in games I play. Again, immediately after phones were paid for. I've heard rumors that this is by design to get you to upgrade but IDK. All I know is my phone ran great....always until that upgrade 2 weeks ago or so. After that.....glitch city. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do your phone take you off apps if you have been on them for at least 10-30 minutes?

Hi sir I'm using Samsung a70 mobile from last 1year. I'm getting a problem with my screen. Last month March 29th,2021 I got a update notification. I updated my phone with that update version from that time I'm facing problem with my phone like screen getting blank for 30sec to 40sec after that phone getting locked. I used power button to open this is repeating every time with all applications and one more important issue is when I open my mobile cam again phone gets blank. Pls give the solution to this issue sir

My wife and my Android Galaxy S10e were finally paid for 2 weeks ago. Then the update came out. Then another last week. Since these updates my phone is glitching like crazy.

I am only seeing this video on june 19 2022. Since my Samsung did a software update last week, people i talk to say my voice cuts in and out. Could that problem be coming from something the update did?

What if you have issues with the network? I have an issue with my Note 20 Ultra where the 5G network connectivity keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting constantly. I cleared the phone's cache, reset network settings... But still no use.

Ive had the same problem the only way to stay connected for more that 5 minutes is to clear network settings and reboot

Hi... i need a little help here. My Galaxy Note 9 still going black screen and blue light every 5 or 10 minutes even when i had performed the factory reset. Any ideas?

All my Google apps (maps, Gmail and KZfaq) won't run on data any more, it's says I'm offline. I'm really annoyed at this update, I've tried everything including a factory reset but these apps will only run on WiFi. Can anyone help?

I have a weird thing happening on my phone after the update, it's like i'm writing something in one page, then i wanna correct a word and when i use the back button another page appears ! I keep pushing the button to see the actual page i need to write on, it's sooo annoying

I have a problem that I can't seem to solve. My phone randomly kicked me out of an app and every time I opened it it crashed, I tried restarting my phone, force stopping the app, clearing the cache, and clearing the data. At first it was one app but now it's spread to 5 more apps and I'm beginning to slightly panic, I don't want to resort to factory reset so I'm asking around for a possible solution to it. Edit: 9 apps now. Edit: Found a Solution thanks to @/Nova !

I had this same problem too and this fixed it: Go to settings>apps and find an app called "Android System WebView" and tap it. In the top right corner of the screen there are those 3 dots (three-dot menu), tap that and then select "uninstall updates". Do not uninstall or disable the app itself though, doing that might cause other problems. I hope this works for you too! :D

Me too! I tried unistalling and reinstalling the apps and it's still having the same issue. I even reset my phone multiple times.

After the last update from Samsung,I still have problems with charging the battery on my Samsung galaxy Android. I have used factory settings. That didn't work so good neither because the cellphone won't accept the memory card as it did before. For every charging I have to take out the battery and back in again. Then it shows fully charged :) It's a brand new battery. The whole problem started when the cellphone got rammed by a bug in the last update from Samsung. But I'll try what is described in this video as a last sollution. If this doesn't work,then I don't know.

Since last update, my msg app keeps coming up, screen 'blips' but no msgs show. Its the blipping that is frustrating.

I upgraded my Sam A21s to most current sofware version UI 4.1 and ever since then when im typing any entry on all app or phone mode, half of the screen up will not respond to touch until i fold down the screen so the typing area gets to the down panel before i can do stuff... Using whatsapp like that is hell, same on facebook etc, infact opening settings goes same, as im typing here it happens too

Sorted after 4days on its own,iguess the update has not completed the functionalitiee, infact as i type another software update is popping up again. Too frequent, within 2 weeks update, im not ready for all these ishh. Samsung shld be calming down and allow us of all these frequent update destrubance

I have the tmobile note 10+. It doesn't inform me when I have a software update. The last 2 updates I had to go into the phone and do the update. How do I get notified when I get a software update instead of me going in and checking all the time ?

T mobile gives the updates... not samsung... samsubg will notify you... but T mobile... nop
