My handle doesn't fit over the nut too good. There's a bb in the handle stopping it.

How you decock it if you chance to fire it at deer on your hunt so your not damage crossbow

The only safe way is to shoot the crossbow into a suitable target.

@@TenPointCrossbows what a terrible design if I knew you could not de-cock it I would have never bought it. I can’t believe you want your customers to put their fingers on that claw and pushing it against the strings while it’s fully cocked. So is there a way besides that to decock it if I don’t have a target to shoot it at, otherwise a target should come with the bow.

@@dzenx9861 it's pretty standard in the industry. Higher end crossbows and recurves can be decocked. Otherwise the overwhelming majority of crossbows are decocked through discharge.

Dzenx You can buy special blunt arrow heads you can shoot into the ground to de cock it.
