Is the the UK Infrastructure Bank publicly owned ? @22:10, Mr. Hutton should first speak about Public Ownership first, capturing some of that Total Money Supply of the UK, especially some of the Banking Revenue that the Private Bankers owns most of.

"Austerity" of.... public sector being a higher % GDP every single year since 2010 than in any single year from 97-07. So not austere "Yeah they spent more. But I wish they'd spent more on X." Isn't a definition of austere.

Aging and increasing population requires increasing taxable gdp otherwise your public service spending as % of gdp increases even without politically choosing to increase public spending via policy changes. You can redirect public expenditure to create austerity if you are incapable of providing taxable gdp growth, which is what the post labour governments have done through ideology and failed to do through incompetence

Hilarious that you can't connect the dots between cutting public spending at a time of sinking demand and failure to grow GDP.
