The alcohol will not dry out your skin. The alcohol evaporates once it's dry!
Swoozie is my friend who happens to be a popular KZfaqr. I've collaborated with him on several other videos. We decided to do this video together :) I don't see a reason why race or stereotyping should be brought up. Just 2 friends having fun.

This video is NOT in any way racist. Swoozie and Michelle are close friends. Plus, Swoozie is amazing in martial arts, so he could've taught Michelle the moves and added his own thing in the video. It's not racist just because he's black.

I found that it works best if you compress the powder right after you create the paste by putting tissue paper over it and pressing down with a coin (it's ok if the paper soaks up the alcohol when you do it, it needs to evaporate anyway). It pushes out air bubbles so it doesn't break easily (happened to me every time until I compressed the powder). It also makes it look really smooth.

Couple years ago I broke an eyeshadow. Tried to fix it with oil, then it leaked onto some other colors in the pallet so I poured it on that too bc it made the color nice, then two days later it dried but it was all squishy and sticky. Wished I’d watched this then.

1.) no, water will not work. you will ruin your makeup. 2.) Yes, any kind of powder product will work. setting powder, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, etc

Michelle's intent might not have been racist, but her video plays into contemporary american stereotypes: the Asian martial arts master/woman "victim"; the Black criminal; and the attractive White male love interest/hero. I believe Michelle 100% when she writes she had no racist intent. however, I believe the video would have been much more interesting if it had creatively challenged well-worn american stereotypes rather than fed into them.
