You're a hero. Spent the day trying to fix this and this worked. What's nuts is that my settings were already set to auto detect. But clicking it into manual and then back to auto, followed by disabling and reenabling the WiFi adapter worked. Thank you!

I was having the exact same issue and none of these steps worked for me. So I decided that the problem was my router and not my PC, since. I unplugged the router for 60 seconds and plugged it back in and voila! my laptop was able to connect again. If that doesn't work then try resetting your router to its factory settings, by pressing the reset button for 30 secs while the router is on, unplugging the router and again pressing the reset button for 30 more seconds, and finally plugging it again and pressing the reset button for another 30 seconds. Once your router has reset to factory setting just set it up again and that should work. I hope this works for you.

Pretty much told me to break my WiFi even more, I was watching this on my phone and I forgot the WiFi as instructed to do and now everytime I write the code in to the WiFi it says the same thing over and over again, usually I’d turned off my WiFi on and off and went to this video to try see if I can fix it without turning it on and off now my pc’s WiFi is even more broken, thanks.

Try this. Go to Network and internet settings. Click on wifi option on the left side. Then choose manage known networks. Then click on the network and choose Forget option. It worked for me.

Every time I look for a fix on youtube or the web, my settings already match the recommendations and my problem still persists. FML

The same happens to me, even if im already connected to the wifi, when i reopen my laptop it cant connect to the network, my solution is always just restarting my laptop, Pretty easy but it takes so long for me cause im impatient And theres also a 40% chance that im successfully connected to my wifi without restarting when i 1st open my laptop lmfaoo
