My situation is little different, when i import whatever in capcut it takes time to load folder icons and inner materials and sometimes lag ( i go many times folder in folder for import)

Why can't Capcut simply use the performance of a M1 Mac Mini like all the other video editors, and not lag in the first place? If we wanted to edit in 540P, we could break out our Windows XP machines.

Using a m1 ultra studio 32 core GPU and it sucks. CapCut is fine if you are just gonna put some stuff on TikTok but for a actual show with multiple high res clips it’s unusable garbage

im on the 2023 m3 macbook pro 14inch but why isn't there any playback on the preview window though? its just frozen for me as if its just a photo but if i go into my library - its clearly a 25 sec clip. I've scoured the settings and almost all buttons found but there's nothing allowing me to see playback. beyond frustrated with it to say the least, any help is appreciated.
