Swim University I sure do my wife rubbed Vick’s on her chest. I drained the water and new water still cloudy and weird damn small )spear minty( I shocked it with chlorine .. I just ordered clarifier

Nice tips. My tub is milky cloudy and I usually cure it with clarifier. This time ive had to empty it? Im interested in one point you made..why do you need to turn the jets off to add chemicals?

When you say turn the air valves off, explain more please. I turn on my bubbles when adding chemicals. How am I turning off my air valves??

I use shock let it run wait till it clears up. How long does it take to get clear water. So I can use the spavac or hose.

1. I have a Inflatable Intex Pure SPA/HOT, the Air Jet are AIR operated therefore, it's all in one. My point is I can't run the Jets without running the Air...... what am I to do? The only thin g that will run independently is the Circulation pump. 2. I'm going from Chlorine, to Bromine..... I know I have to drain the Tub, how do I effectively clean it before going to Bromine ? Thanks in advance

Please help. I'm soooo frustrated. I've cleaned our hot tub with diluted bleach last night. Today this gross brown film is all around it. We have a filter but it's still soooo gross like semi dirty bath water. Help. Can I clean this without draining. Our tub is a plug and play. When it's on the jets run on a cycle. Please help.

What do you mean, "when adding chemicals, make sure the air valves are off", are the jets that same thing as air valves? I turn on the jets and toss in my chemicals. Am I doing it wrong?

This was a head scratcher for me as well. I mean if you shut off the air valves, the jets don't run. Jets need to run to mix the chemicals. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can adjust the air valves. 2 on each side that allow the ability to increase the aur in the lines. The jets are meant to circulate the water but the air valves create that "bubble" look when the jets are on

May I also add , to make sure your water is heated when you add your chemicals, or else they don't get the best effect especially if it is a granular chemical

I agree with just refill to save money and chemicals because adding additional chemicals to the already bad water is a waste and won't correct high solids etc. it's worth the time to refill at least twice a year in my opinion.

Sheri Lee your opinion doesn’t matter , according to your logic we should drain a entire pool because it’s cloudy . Ever heard of filtration you .. it will correct

My hot tub is very cloudy my reading today is ph 6.8 all 160 and 0 on chlorine

I have difficulty in reading a test strip the colors are difficult to determine and match the label. Is there a digital tester that you would recommend. One that gives recommendation for balancing water chemistry. I use bromine tablets. I have a 210 gallon inflatable spa indoors in a sun room.

On my hot tub I can turn the air valves off. The pump still runs and circulates the water but there is no air introduced into the system at all.
