Top job. Great use of foam to avoid too much shrinkage on the filler. Assume the ext polyfiller is a kind of exterior Caulk, or do you think better than that ? Great job anyhow.

It's a ready mixed waterproof and frost resistant filler.. thanks

Hi guys, loving the videos, just a quick question on exterior painting Would silicone be a good filler for the cracks instead of expanding foam and exterior ready mixed filler? Thank you
@darland38214 жыл бұрын
Silicon isn't usually overpaintable. However PU sealant (tiger seal for example) usually is.

Silicon is not the best stuff especially none printable. Thanka

@@PaintingandDecorating I have some non painted pebbledash render with cracks in it. I was wondering whether I could use silicon to fill the cracks but before it sets fully push some new pebbledash stones into the silicon. Do you think this would work well?

Thanks for sharing! Would the expanding foam work on interior plasterboard joints? I am referring to joints on a conservatory roof that has been plasterboarded where it was not possible to use tapered joints and are butted.

Your welcome.. yes the foam will work.

How did you prepare the rest of the wall before painting? There appeared to be quite a lot of flaking and blistered paint.

Hi, thank you for the video, much appreciated. Where did you use the EVO-STICK PVA? Was it in one of the buckets of water? Thank you
@Jay-zy5dt Жыл бұрын
He brushed it into the crack after raking out with the knife. It’s to bind all the loose grit and dust in there so the filler has a good surface to adhere to

Wonder how well this method would work on the thousands of homes in Co.Donegal, Mayo and other countries that have the weetabix blocks with loads of the mica mineral in them 😑😑

Been on this Chanel for years and yes I know what’s coming..... and it works!! Some folk with the idea of slapping a bit of flexible fiber mixed filler in there fail to realise that once the filler has flexed all it can it will still crack. Best to stop movement at the start and go from there! Top work as always!
