I used to want keratin but I've heard it can cause breakage and other issues so I'm definitely not doing it now. Glad to see that she's recovering from it did to her hair and it looks beautiful.

My best friend got a keratin treatment and it damaged her hair too. I don’t understand why hairstylist continue to use it. Thank you for giving us the facts about Keratin. We are sensitive about our hair, so anytime something like this happens, it’s traumatizing. You did a great job with her hair. I’m sure it restored her confidence.

The heat that they use on the Keratin is what put me off! My hair is permanently straight if you flat iron over 190C/375F. yeah ultra-fine texture.

Amazing results. I was scared. To problem solve effectively on the fly is a super skill. Trust and believe. The dual replacement service; tape-ins + braidless weaving wefts was genius. Couldn't be me, lol. I'm not a good problem solver. And she has access to her scalp, which is EVERYTHING. Can't wait for her to experience her newgrowth in a couple of weeks and begin to gain more coverage and confidence in her styling options. It be hard out here in these Black hair care streets, lol, ain't everybody able. Good Morning Crystal, I just love your work. I love how you educate us, and you are so compassionate. I watched several of your videos this morning. The one that caught my attention is titled, "Her hair broke off from braids and stretching relaxers." You educated us on how stretching relaxers can be more damaging than good. The blend in was done perfectly! Great job! 👍🏿 😊 I would love to know what invisible braids are! You know a lot about different styles. I have worn extentions of any kind. However, since having a personal battle to fight, my hair has fallen out and broken in spots. I love wraps and such (by choice), but now, since I am kind of forced to do it, the joy has left. If I lived near you, I would beg for an appointment! ❤

I’m so impressed with your care for all types of hair conditions. I’m Caucasian so have a different set of issues. I underwent chemo so lost it all. When it grew back it was and is still sooo fine and behaves so differently I started using Argon oil even in the bald scalp Lots of hair masks. Crystal. I am watching a video b4 the baby. I am 74, and your topic was highlights and natural hair. You were talking about sensitive babies, and I think I heard you say that you wanted to try to find the powder that was in a punk box. I don't know if you wanted to find it for you or the baby, but, I remember my mom having powder in a pink container, CASHMERE BOUQUET. She also had the bath soap. Nothing on the market at that time to me, had a better scent. Hopefully I heard you correctly. If I didn't, please forgive me. Babies are very delicate and we do have to make sure the products we use on them will not irritate them. I love your show. Wish I lived near you. I am disabled and have a related, nut, I need experience to service my hair. Very tender headed. Ok. Love you, Take care. You always have the ladies looking like the QUEENS they are when they leave.❤❤❤

Keratin is to strong for your hair, I had a beautician tell me that it is for the hot weather, but as you see now I left that beautician and I am fully natural doing my own hair

I'm glad that as an adult I've found hairdressers that are really gentle. The hairdressers my mother took me too as a child pulled my hair so horribly tight :(

The blend was gorgeous!😊 I was worried for a bit when I could see the tape at the crown, but the hair fibers really did cover well. I didn't even know about hair fibers. Most of my life I've cared for my hair myself. I think I've been to a salon 10 times over the course of my life, and those times were for cuts that were out of my league. I went natural about 10 years ago. I go to an all female barber shop once a month. They also do facials and eyebrow waxing. They will wash and condition, but I prefer to do that myself.

Why nt just cut it down and start over with her natural hair, now weave or sew-in. she will be surprised at fast her hair will grow back. I've been there but not that bad. Nice head of hair tho!
