How do I know, that Touch-ID is function now? I do connect the Home Button with the Logic Board and then is Touch ID function there? Thank you for your help, i hope you know, what I mean, becourse my english is very bad.

I think my original home button is alright , but maybe my phone screen LCD damage the home button cable. Idk I don’t wanna waste my money to buy another new LCD to test it out its so expensive. I already buy new third party home button to test out and its still the same not working.

What temperature C you set on soldering station to microsolder in method 1 or 2? 245C? Or 360C?

Hello. My iPhone 7 plus display was completely shattered and I recently changed the display. But the home button cable gets very hot which can be felt to the left of the home button due to which the touch on the display won't work. The home button is working fine and the touch id also works fine. Can you guys suggest a repair for this? I so wanna have touch id in my phone

Wow! That really & truly is “skill” in the utmost definition of the word! I dare to even say, “mad skillz!” Hats off, my man! (or woman) (or person) (whichever pronoun best applies) 😉 My question tho, is it possible to replace only the cracked sapphire crystal part of the home button, with a working, non-cracked, spare sapphire crystal, since the home buttons are uniquely synced to each individual iPhone? Thus, leaving all other parts original to the phone, except for the crystal circle part of the home button. Swapping them out entirely doesn’t allow you to navigate back & forth to the Home Screen, as i had hoped. I have swapped mine, but to no avail. Thanks!!
