@@vincenzomigliore9749 Not too bad. Color matching was pretty difficult. Ended up getting some stain markers at the Depot to better match the floors. Worst part is that little repair spot doesn’t have the shine of the rest of the floor so with the right lighting at the right angle it’s clear as day. But, all in all most no one will ever notice. Just be patient playing with it and you’ll do alright!

Same here..we’re moving a heavy threadmill into the basement and had deep scratched the wood floor in couple spots ☹️

It’s 1800 and it should work on oak hardwood as well. Key is not to sand too hard and selecting correct stain color. Now a days you can also get matching stain pen and in some stores they have matching color of wood fillers as well that will make your life but easy

Hello Cheryl, Used Ebony 2718 stain and used 1800 grit sand paper. Sand paper is very fine so that you don’t scratch your floor.

If it’s dent and wood surface is still there you make have to chip that wood surface put a filler and they apply that chipped surface back to where it’s properly leveled and should fix the problem. Just depends on how deep it is but you are correct if you fill on top of the finished wood surface it may come off easily

In my case after finishing the job it was close to my wood finish but if need more sheen you can try very light coat of polyurethane
