I think you have to make sure first that no leakage there.. maybe E4 means water leakage

I have IKEA LAGAN dishwasher and "E4" in the manual is "The anti-flood device is on. Close the water tap and contact an Authorised Service Centre." Does it mean there is a leakage somewhere? 2 handymen came in total of three times, the dishwasher worked for a few washes after but then again "E4" shows.

Same here, Logik dishwasher. Works for 2-3 dishes, then it re-occurs. I'll probably dissassmeble it the coming days and look further into it and what It might be. Something is making the outlet water overflow within the machine. :/
