Worked for me! Just installed win7, and no drivers came with it, including wifi. This works offline so it allowed me to use the software needed to install my network drivers. Thanks much.

Lifesaver. Trying to resurrect an older Dell with a legit restore copy of Win7-64 bit. The latest Dell drivers all expect that KB update to have been installed, but Win7 SP1 doesn't have it. Installing that update allowed me to install the drivers I need to bring the computer up and make it do something useful. Thanks!

Had this issue when trying to install an Ethernet controller driver. Found the KB you show here on my other computer, put the .msu file on a flash drive, and it fixed the issue, allowing me to install the driver and connect to the internet. Thank you, sir!

if your trying to install necessary drivers after a fresh install, like networking drivers. Rename the file to a zip. Open and extract all. Run the set up. I no longer have issues and windows update will work after.

I stumbled upon your video and now I can update drivers. I just did a fresh Windows 7 32 BIT Pro install on a Dell M6600 (32 bit needed for the old industrial software used). I couldn't do shit, because Windows could not see the wireless driver and I was ready to smash the machine.

Here it is, September 2019. I had to reinstall Windows 7 to avoid some Windows 10 bugs. When I got the basic drivers from DELL, they were upgraded way beyond my version of Windows 7. The only thing that worked was the CD Drive. SO I downloaded the drivers by using a different computer, then transferred those to the broken computer. POOF, they won't install.
